The growth of renewable energy will catch up with that of oil

BP, a multinational oil giant, released bp2030 world energy outlook yesterday. Its latest prediction of energy trends shows that the global energy growth in the next 20 years will be mainly concentrated in emerging economies such as China, India, Russia and Brazil. Energy efficiency will also be accelerated, and the growth of renewable energy will catch up with that of oil

according to BP's basic forecast, the primary energy consumption in the next 20 years will increase by nearly 40% depending on specific materials, of which 93% will come from non OECD countries. It is expected that non OECD countries will rapidly increase their share of global energy demand from half to two-thirds

according to outlook, the fuel structure will gradually change over time. The growth of oil (excluding biofuels) is relatively slow, with an average annual growth of 0.6%; Natural gas has become the fastest-growing fossil energy, with an average annual growth rate of 2.1%, more than three times that of the former. The average annual growth of coal is up to 1.2%. By 2030, each face of coal and stone can only be formed once. The research on energy-based silicone, optoelectronics, inorganic nonmetallic, high molecular and refractory materials provided by oil (excluding biofuels) is quite authoritative.
